Who?

Raised by a family full of artists, Izzy Alo learned various creative skills that allowed her to find her passion that led to her career. From drawing and painting to sewing original and reworked pieces, from graphic design to video editing, Alo has mastered all of her favorite talents.

Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan, Alo actively collaborates with several artists to expand their portfolios together. She has worked with small businesses and luxury corporations in the fashion industry such as Détroit Is The New Black and Louis Vuitton, where she learned various skills with different people and systems. Skills include various software for inventory and order management, client management, luxury treatment, sales, and social media content creation. Incorporating all of these skills has allowed her to become the detail-oriented artist and student that she is today.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Art at Wayne State University, Alo is a Jewelry Consultant with Brilliant Earth while doing freelance personal styling and modeling.

Get to know me more…

I am a detail-oriented, extremely creative, and experimental artist and individual overall in everything I do. And I treat life the same way.

I love to look at life through rose-colored glasses, in every aspect. Seeing the best in people, finding the benefits of each new opportunity, and treating each situation with an open mind. All of which has allowed me to enjoy my life each day and not take it so seriously.

While the stresses of our global, political, social, and personal issues may take a toll on each of us, the best thing I have found to do is to just keep going. Keep fighting. All doing so with grace and contentment.

I choose to take this attitude and outlook in everything I encounter, professionally and personally. And I encourage everyone to do the same as I firmly believe that taking care of yourself and your mindfulness has a great impact on those around you.

When I work, I take each project with my heart. My passion is what drives me the most and brings out my best work. Whether I’m making social media content, modeling, or sewing a new piece, I analyze the details. I think about why I’m creating it, who it’s for, how it will function, how it will be presented and viewed, and why it matters. Each of those questions that I answer has become an automatic step in my work process and thus, motivates me more to make each one the best.

Letting your heart and soul become connected to your work will remind you why what you’re doing matters and how great you can let each project become.
